Volume 1, Issue 9
September 2010
School is back in session and fall is in
the air as we move into September. It's a little sad to think that another
summer went by too quickly, but those of us here in the Black Hills can't be
sad for long, because September still offers great weather and a calendar
jam-packed with fun activities.
Among the unique events coming up in the
Black Hills:
· Sept. 16 -
Catch Comedian Rodney Carrington live and in person
· Sept. 18 -
See a "wild wheels (and animals)" car show
· Sept. 30 -
Plan a special outing just for women

and December have also been newly updated, so you may want to sneak a peek at
what's coming up and start making your plans. Visit www.blackhillsbuzz.com

A Tribute to the West
| September seems to be a great month for honoring
the western and cowboy culture, particularly through music and poetry.

a musical rendition of "Always...Patsy Cline. The theatre is located in the
Rushmore Mall next to JCPenneys. For times and ticket information, click

Gathering. Get details here.
Best of the Fests
There's
a popular event each September in Custer State Park that draws thousands to the
area to get a small sense of the Old West. It's called the Buffalo Roundup, and
if you haven't attended this one-of-a-kind event, it's worth the trip. See what
we love about the event, here.
Pumpkins,
quilts, German food and brew are also given unique festivals of their own here
in the Hills. See what's coming up, here.
